Dr Ahmad Sayed Hasanien MBBCh FRACGP
Dr Ahmad Sayed trained and worked in Sydney metropolitan hospitals specialising in acute care (intensive care, emergency and anaesthesia) for over 5 years after graduating from Ain Shams University, in Cairo Egypt where he was awarded the Excellent With Honours, MBBCh in 2006.
More interested in long term relationship and management continuity with his patients, from 2013 onwards he began to prepare himself to become a dedicated family physician. Dr Sayed gained a Diploma in Child Health at the University Of Sydney, Westmead Hospital in 2013 . His ever-present passion for women’s health and paediatric medicine led him to obtain a Basic & Advanced Diploma In Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RANCOG) from 2013-2014 in Central Queensland, Rockhampton.
In 2015 Dr Sayed found passion in the skin cancer speciality when he diagnosed his first skin cancer case, having seen the life-saving impact the early diagnosis had on his patient inspired him to continue in the area and specialise in skin cancer, he was awarded a certificate in Dermoscopy & Surgical Skin Cancer at the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) in 2013 and 2015. He also gained a Diploma Of Dermoscopy at the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) in 2015.
In addition to Dr Sayed’s specialisation in skin cancer, a continuous interest in aesthetic medicine led him to complete a Basic & Advanced Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine, at the Academy of Cosmetic Medicine & Science (ACMAS) in 2016.
